Terms of Use

RemAInder is a help, not a guarantee. It does its best to remind you of what you tend to forget, but it does not replace your own attention — especially for medication, documents, or anything you depend on.
Acceptance
By using RemAInder you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. RemAInder is provided by Apexium Systems.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use RemAInder on devices you own or control. The app is licensed, not sold. You may not resell it, rent it, decompile it or attempt to extract its source, except to the extent the law allows.
When you install the app through a store (the App Store or Google Play), these terms are between you and Apexium Systems — not with Apple or Google. Responsibility for the app, for support and for any claim relating to it is ours, not the store's. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Support is at suporte@apexiumsystems.com.
By using the app you agree to comply with applicable law, including export rules, and represent that you are not located in an embargoed country.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens on your account. Tell us at suporte@apexiumsystems.com if you suspect misuse. You must be at least 13 years old.
Free tier and RemAInder Plus
The free tier is complete in the essentials and shows ads. RemAInder Plus removes the ads and adds unlimited places and household sharing.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account on purchase confirmation.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage and cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings — it cannot be cancelled from inside the app, because the subscription belongs to the store and not to us.
- Cancelling keeps your access until the end of the period already paid for.
Prices may change. If they do, it will be announced in advance and never applies to a period already paid for.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies — we have no way to issue a refund directly. If something went wrong, write to us and we will help however we can.
Acceptable use
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes, do not try to access other people's accounts, and do not try to get around technical limits or payment. We may suspend accounts that do.
Content
The places, items and lists you create are yours. You grant us only the technical permission needed to store them and sync them between your devices and, if you turn it on, with your household group.
Limitation of liability
RemAInder is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from something you forgot, from an alert that did not arrive, or from service interruptions. Detection depends on the operating system, the permissions granted, and your phone's battery optimisation, any of which can stop an alert from arriving in time.
Nothing in these terms removes the rights that Portuguese and European law give you as a consumer.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Account → Delete account. We may close accounts that breach these terms, with prior notice except where that is not possible.
Changes
These terms may be updated. Significant changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
Governing law
Portuguese law applies, with the courts of Lisbon having jurisdiction, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
