Delete your RemAInder account

Applies to the RemAInder app, by Apexium Systems.

If you already uninstalled the app

Write to suporte@apexiumsystems.com from the account's email address, with "delete account" as the subject. We confirm and delete within 30 days. We ask that the email comes from the account address because that is how we confirm the account is yours — we cannot accept the request any other way.

What gets deleted

Everything associated with the account on our servers:

• the account and its credentials;
• your places, items and shopping lists;
• the history of departures and checklists;
• what the app learned about your habits (priorities, weekday patterns);
• household group membership and the cross alerts that concern you.

The coordinates of your places were never on our servers — they stay on the phone and disappear when you uninstall the app. It is explained in the privacy policy.

What is kept, and why

• Purchase records — Apple and Google keep transaction history independently of us, for tax and accounting obligations. We neither control nor can delete those.
• Technical logs — server logs rotate and disappear within 30 days. They do not contain the contents of your checklists.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to delete the account to erase what the app learned about you. Under Settings › learning › Clear learning history the priorities go back to their starting point and the detected patterns are forgotten, while the account, places and items stay.

Cancelling the subscription

Deleting the account does not cancel a RemAInder Plus subscription, because that is managed by the store. Cancel it first under Settings › Subscriptions (iPhone) or Google Play › Payments and subscriptions (Android). There is more detail on the support page.
